Overview
The 3rd US-Africa Futures Summit brings together policymakers, civil society and members of the African diaspora for strategic dialogue on US-Africa commercial diplomacy. Since 2023, this annual summit has connected policy experts, academics and organisations to discuss Africa’s global positioning, featuring the Institute for Security Studies (ISS) African Futures programme analysis.
Participants will explore how commercial diplomacy affects African agency and future US-Africa relations, examining the challenges of development, governance, and global engagement. The summit emphasises the transformative role of the African diaspora in reimagining Africa’s place in a multipolar world and strengthening strategic partnerships.
