Overview
On its current development trajectory, the gap between Africa and the rest of the world is likely to continue widening. The African Futures & Innovation team at the Institute for Security Studies (ISS) has modelled the long-term development potential of each African country, according to the AU's Agenda 2063, across various sectors.
This summit launches a report which examines global trends and presents the 'development ceiling' for Africa in four global scenarios. The goal of the event is to build and strengthen the foresight analysis of Africa and its future by familiarising US stakeholders with the forecasting and modelling approach.
This event is co-hosted by Humanity United and the Institute for Security Studies.
